I love having this car repair shop on the neighborhood. They are friendly, timely and as the name says, honest. I recently dropped my car off for rattling noise and flat tire. I anticipated hundreds in repairs and the bill was $45. All problems solved within a few hours.

Horrible experience, kept telling them my alignment was not straight, They did not even touch the cambers, I kept telling the guy that it's not straight... I went back again to tell him it's not straight, basically I payed for them to do half the job... I had to bring it somewhere else and now it's straight... Its okay, I do not need the money back..

The review that is posted under my name is not the review that I left on the business website, but a review that I left on google. The review that I left on the business website has not been posted. If the business picks and chooses what reviews to post or to not post, how is that an honest representation/evaluation of the business?

took my car in to have AC recharged, also mentioned that my check engine light was on. they said they would "take a look" at it. apparently that means run a full diagnostic for $175 without telling customer the cost up front and without asking if that's ok. got charged for work i didn't ask for and then when I was confused about being charged they blamed me for expecting them to do work for free. seems more dishonest than honest to me

I'm a female college student with no working knowledge whatsoever of cars. I've been patronized by mechanics before and taking my car in to get fixed or inspected always fills me with dread. This place was recommended to me by a friend for an oil change and it's great - the workers were extremely friendly and spoke to me in a way where I understood what was going on. I didn't feel judged or patronized for not knowing much about my car, which I am very grateful for. They worked with my schedule and were very prompt. Will be coming here again.

The guys at Honest 1 on Hamline are awesome! Very knowledgeable and are able to explain whats going on with my vehicle to me in a way that I understand. Great place for car service
