I love Honest-1! As a woman, they are respectful and courteous - and never charge ridiculous rates or condescend. I came in because my car was rattling, and they discovered a detached clamp around my exhaust pipe that had no real structural importance. They immediately consulted me, removed it in about five minutes, and sent me on my way, free of charge! I had an 11 am appointment and I was out of there, sans rattling, and home by 11:20. I've done repairs here before and they have always been fast, reliable, and affordable. I will never go to another mechanic! (Plus, being right next to a cafe is a great way to spend the time, even though their waiting room has a full cappuccino and coffee bar set up and TV). Thanks to Dennis and co!

Good prices, friendly, and my vehicle was ready when promised. In fact today's oil change without an appointment was so fast I barely had time to get comfortable at the neighborhood coffee shop next door! I do recommend appointments here when possible.

An ignition coil under warranty from 2 years ago was replaced free of charge. Thanks guys!

Lee Larson, East Como · 2d ago Recommended Honest-1 Auto Care located at Hamline & Hoyt is an outstanding auto shop. They have a highly trained & experienced staff. Also, they guarantee their parts and work for 3 years. 18 months ago I had both front suspension ball joints replaced. One of the ball joint parts failed last week. As a result the axle also failed, and the alignment was off. To fix these items it was estimated to cost over $1700. The manager of the shop called me and told me because their records indicated they had completed the ball joint work less than three years ago they were going to make all repairs free of charge.
